Meaningless play now. Many of these guys, in a week, will be gone from the NFL forever. They'll be bagging groceries, serving Happy Meals to kids, be "cart wranglers" at Walmart, or similar jobs.

I'm sick. We embarrassed ourselves tonight (starters....that's all that counts). Totally out-classed. Offense, defense & special teams. A big steamy pile of stinking crap. I wish the LT problem was our only problem. Man, we still can't tackle, block or cover people. Cutler can't do much without blocking. Forte can't run without better blocking.

Getting kind of late to "fix" the oline. I'd LIKE to "fix" a few of them myself after tonight. Like I had my dog "fixed"....

And after tonight, ya realize what a joke it is calling the LT and LG "competitions" .....because it doesn't matter who wins these "competitions" because all four of these players look like total crap out there.

Guys, the regular season is just around the corner. Too late to do much with the oline now. The train is leaving the station and we have Webb or C.Will as our engineer. Cutler might as well jump in front of a train (Forte too).

Now you're just getting ridiculous. It's still the preseason and the games don't really mean a damn thing. I don't know how many times I have to say it to where people will believe it. Do we have deficiencies? Yeah, of course we do. But just think of it this way: our offense looked really good against the Redskins, with the blocking being pretty good though not elite, and Cutler looked focused. The defense was dominant against Washington. The defense looked okay tonight with the exception of two drives leading to ten points for the Giants. That blocked punt because Unga didn't execute his blocking assignment like he should've was beyond ridiculous and we should only have gone into halftime with deficit of 10-7.

Maybe the offensive line looked bad because of the Giants pass rush. Did anyone stop to think that a lot of teams struggle against them? And look at it this way: our offense improved as the game went on into the third quarter. If Cutler had maintained a sense of focus in the first half like he normally does in most games, I don't think we would be sitting here and talking about the Bears struggling offensively. Personally, I blame Cutler more than the offensive line for the offense's struggles in the first half in the passing game.

Hey, at least Cutty didn't get sack nine times! LOL

Yeah, thats how you win Superbowls, by getting your OL manhandled by the other team's DL.

Yes, its preseason, but all we saw (again) was how woefully inept our OL is. Just another reminder of our glaring "deficiencies" and just like last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before that...your OL just doesnt magically improve between pre-season and regular season.

Games are won in the trenches, unfortunately Halas Hall only has received half that memo.

We're not going to win the Super Bowl this year. And if we don't improve in run blocking, we're not going to the playoffs and we will possible wind up with a 7-9 record or worse since our defense is without Urlacher and we have to rely on a player in Nick Roach who is playing out of position and is not very good anywhere you put him. Personally, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the Bears tank this season so we can get a fresh new set of coaches in who will actually modernize this offense, build a solid offensive line, and build a defense that doesn't use the "scorched Earth" philosophy of pass defense.
