My grandmother lost her power down in Chattanooga. Three tornadoes hit her subdivision and knocked down power lines and several trees. She is okay; she is staying with my uncle, aunt, and younger cousin until the power can be restored, which may take up to a week.
Ringgold, GA, was hit hard. The elementary and middle schools will probably have to be rebuilt. People were killed in the areas around my grandmother and in Ringgold, GA, which is close to Granny's place.

Glad to hear that your grandma is safe. It's tragic what's happened in the south. Thoughts and prayers are with all of those who are hurting or have lost loved ones.

Thanks for the kind words. It is tragic what's happened down here. Tuscaloosa, AL was virtually leveled. Normally, I wouldn't care what happened to the University of Alabama, but I would never wish anything like this to happen to anyone.

Well, that's awesome to hear! I miss so many of the people who used to come on the old site, like Kathy, fenny, UrlsGrrl, Nate, PhinPhnatic, etc. I talked to fenny this morning way early, and she's doing well.
