    I miss Stevie though . . .
Amen, brother! I miss the CAPTAIN big time, but it's nice he's still in the house, albeit in the front office.

I think he did it out of spite. :(
I play the Bass and did my share of keeping him awake. . . Never at four in the damn morning though.

Have you watched many games this year? I'm 24 and have never known any Detroit hockey other than under The Captain. It's almost like a totally foreign game now.
My friends would kick my ass if they heard me say it, but I'm glad they got Hasek back. I've always liked him. :) Dats and Zetter are the future of the club now, I'm excited to see what direction they go. I just hope they can stay playoff contenders every year like I'm used to.

Is that the U2 "Beautiful Day"?

That one always leaves me smiling.

Big dance/euphoria fan myself. Spent plenty of nights at places like Gatecrasher listening to everything since Carl Cox right through to Lisa Lashes.

    Happy days :)

It's easier finding Jimmy Hoffa than hockey on the telly, Lassa Dear! Stevie and I are the same age, so yes, I've seen pre-Yzerman Red Wings. Unfortunately, they were mocked as the "Dead Wings" until things started turning around under Illitch. Thank GOD he owns the Tigers, too! Lions fans want him to buy that team, too. I don't, because Mike will turn that team into winners, due to the FACT that he doesn't tolerate a loser mentality and isn't a lazy club owner.

Sometimes Turner South has a Thrashers game on it. (you'd have to really be hurtin for a hockey fix to watch that though) I dropped the hundred bucks for the Center Ice package so I get to see all the games. Staying in every night to watch hockey keeps me out of trouble. The first Nationally televized game isn't until Jan 28th against the Avalanche. :(

 What's with these newbie NHL homers trying to convert me to a Thrashers fan? HELL NAW! The new Southwest commercial plays up to the FACT that hockey in the South is foreign (and FOUL, imo). The players shout out homage to where they're from: Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Czech Republic and MICHIGAN!

Hockey in the South...BLASPHEMY.

Yeah, you know how fair weather all the southern fans are (Dolphins excluded) So long as the Thrashers are winning, everyone in GA thinks Hockey is great and the Thrash are the best team out there . . . A losing streak comes along and all of a sudden it's a stupid game from canada and everyone goes back to watching NASCAR . . . .
