I actually got sunburned today while working in the gardens and yard.

Sunny but WINDY

Only made it to the high 70s today. Probably the last of the 70s we'll see in the Phx. area till sept.

It's hard to imagine that it was warmer here than where you are. Currently, it is 88* here.

same here... and i'm using that temperature to be the reason why i didn't get my grading done today ("sorry kids, it was too hot to grade yesterday" :D)

Could you say, "It was so hot, my pen melted"?

oooh, that might work. i was also thinking i could say "hey, sorry kids. the weather was so warm that i thought we were already in summer break! whoops, my bad!"

yes. yes i am. and since i know i'm not gonna be at the school i teach at now next year, i want out as fast as possible (i don't wanna f-ing deal with my principal and the diva students anymore)
