Had a dose of snow today. thankfully it was too wet beforehand for it to lay. Godamn snow gets on my nerves. Its fun the first day when its all fresh, then it gets trodden down and turns to ice. makes things a nightmare. We're never prepared for snow over here either. it brings us all to a grinding halt.

Makes a big difference when you are not use to it. Where I am (canada) 2 feet and things keep on going. It is the freezing rain that slows things a little. But we are well equipt and I love driving in the stuff.

Yeah we're not used to it. But even though, we still don't prepare or are ready for it when its forecast to come. Then to be honest I'm not envious of you over there. Canada is certainly somewhere I'd like to visit at some point in my life, but I don't think I'd like 2+ feet of snow to trudge through.

Snow can be quite nice, the crisp air, the sound of the snow under your feet. Standing over a hole in the ice in a north wind waiting for a fish to bite. It can be a very satifying experience. And we do have snow shoes. And this weekend is a fishing derby on the river where I live, they will be 100's people out on the ice. It going to be a great day.

Really rainy and wet. As one day it is sunny and the next day, wet and cold! Weird weather we have been having!
