I know I have a few guys I talk about Rescue Me with here, so I'm going to suggest a new series for you guys to watch. This Sunday, The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC. It's a zombie show based on one of the best comics EVER and definitely best currently running series. It's not so much about the gore and horror of a zompocalypse, but rather a very character driven drama that focuses on the human condition during their survival in an apocalyptic situation. Then, of course, the backdrop of the horror of the zompocalypse makes it fucking awesome.
Seriously, you shouldn't miss out, it's a great character driven story and Frank freaking Darabont is running the show. Yes, that Frank Darabont who made what is questionably the best movie of all time in "Shawshank' and one of the best horror films of the decade in 'The Mist'. Seriously, everything the guy touches turns to gold (Yes, I actually really liked The Majestic).
