Yeah? My dad's great-aunt and great-uncle owned a tavern in Knoxville back decades ago. That's how he got to know Doug Atkins.

By the way, people: I wrote the first in a series of articles about the 1934 NFL Championship Game. The title of these articles is "Championships Missed: The Lost Seasons." Next week, I plan on writing one about the 1942 NFL Championship Game that the Bears lost to the Washington Redskins. The Bears were undefeated coming into that came, riding high off of back-to-back NFL championships in 1940 and 1941. Please, go read the article and let me know what you think. I would like to know if it's good enough, or if I need to just give up trying to do the research and writing.
