Sorry if I offened you I didn't mean to. Over here you just get the picture of you guys over there not knowing the small countries. There are jokes going around that people in the US belive Denmark is a city in Sweden, but yea sorry if i offened any of you, wasn't meant to I just didn't knew you would know where this small country where.
I'm sure there are some that don't, but the majority of Americans are familiare with the European area.

Well no offense taken my man, but Europeans aren't exactly known for being the most friendly and gracious people in the world so it doesn't surprise me that there are those that have a condescending attitude toward Americans. After all, I would prefer Chicago over Brussels any time; I would rather spend January in Pensacola over Amsterdam, and I would much rather spend a weekend in Charlotte before I would spend a day in Wiesbaden...again. There is no place in Austria that would entice me to visit again, and I could care less about the attitudes of the French, or even the Italians for that matter. Frankly, I've had my fill of aristocratic British snobbery as well, but at least they stand their ground with us when need be. I would much rather spend time with the polynesian people of Hawaii than the Aryans of the Rhine river valley.

As for the video, I'm guessing you could put a camera in front of a hundred passers by in Copenhagen and ask them what the mighty Mississippi is, or where lake Michigan is, or ask them who Hillary Clinton is and you could find more than enough stupid answers to make a similar point for Denmark. Have they heard of the Grand Canyon? Does the average resident of Denmark know where the State of Washington is, or any other State for that matter? Would knowledge of our States not be similar to expecting us to have knowledge of European countries of equal or smaller size or global relevance?

Hey, just havin some fun, don't take offense. Many Americans have opinions about other parts of the world too.

The world is full of assholes, Lol. I'm a small town guy. I can only stand large cities such as Chicago in small quatities. Manners and hospitality seem to go out the window in urban areas.

You're so right. About the videos, that is who the "think" is the Amercian, when they're asked to think on one. But yea it's the culture, we all come from different backgrounds, and all have a different way of thinking what is rude or not. I've for an exsample, said to a Scotsman, you're not very good at this game are you. (In sarcasme) but he ofcause took it as a bad thing. Sarcasme is a everyday thing in Denmark. But hey, as long as we can get along we're all fine right ;) *big smile on my face*

Thats the goal. I ultimately believe that we are all (nations of the world) far more similar than we care to admit. We all have our won allegiences, but if you remove that whole "silly human pride" and ego stuff, you find genius and ignorance, good and evil, civility and arrogance wherever you go.

Beyond that, I honestly believe most govt's/religions/political parties create barriers more then the people themselves do; not all, but most. The masses are just dumb enough to follow. I think most people, on their own, regardless of their grouping can find common ground and be civil.
