Thread: Annual HOTTIE "BRACKET" Poll

It's time. Oh yes... it's time.

Please take the few seconds to participate in the poll. Poll results will dictate future movement.

Please use the below to determine your answer. Links provided to previous contests as examples.

BRACKET
I'll create a list of 64 babes, break them into 4 groups of 16, arbitrarily seed them, and then we can vote in a "sweet 16" type bracket.

PRO: Lots of babes. Individual winner.
CON: LOTS, and I mean LOTS, of voting (Approximately 63 votes which is 63 individual polls) and time consuming. Not everyone votes, so people have moved forward with only 3 votes. Format lends itself to low # of voters due to # of polls.

RESULT: ONE babe being selected as DBS Hottie (2009)


DRAFT BOARD/HAREM
I'll create a draft board, and all participants (i.e., YOU) will draft a "babe" for your "harem", then the next participant goes, and then another, etc...

PRO: You get to "design" your own "harem" of 8 babes to compete against other harems. No one babe will be in more than one harem, as they are removed from consideration after being picked.
Con: Lot's of time and research involved - very TIME consuming. Constantly waiting on the rest of participants to make their draft picks before you can go again. Having someone else pick one of your future picks, thereby causing more work.

RESULT: One HAREM being selected as the best overall harem (2010). 2011 was awesome as well

FREE FOR ALL/MODIFIED HAREM
Everyone will do their research and pick six, or eight, babes to represent them. They will send those names, as well as a link to TWO images, to me. Once everyone who desires to participate has done so, I'll use those names/links to create a harem page for every player and then post them. Harem owners can then beef up their individual pages with as many photo's as they desire.

Pro: No draft, no bracket... you simply give me the name of 6, or 8, babes. Won't matter if you have a babe on more than one harem, as votes should be based on the OVERALL/ENTIRE harem, and it is not likely that any two people will pick the same six, or 8, babes. Might have a couple, but that's negligible.
Con: None that I can tell, except the whole "1 or 2, maybe even 3" babes in more than 1 harem.

RESULT: One harem being selected as the best overall harem (new)



Misc. Bullshit:
1) Both Harem/modified Harem maybe further modified into categories. I.e, each harem must have 1 athlete, 1 model, 1 over 40, 1 Asian, 1 Actress, etc... Can be broken down in any way. Or, there can be NO categories. Here's a breakdown of last years categories, along with one of the final harems.
2) If Harem, I will not start this without at least 10 willing harem owners. This is a time consuming process, so if you say you will participate, realize that.
3) If Modified Harem, I will not start this without at least 5 willing harem owners. Preferably more, but since there is very little work for me to set this up (less than the rest anyway), I'll consider at least 5 a good number.
4) If Bracket, I will not start the bracket without less than 15 willing voters who understand that this involves a whole lot of voting and time.

I, personally, prefer the free-for-all, but understand that some people WANT to invest time into this.

FYI... "PARTICIPATE" in the poll does not mean "voting". It means being an active participant. Owning a harem, selecting your babes, participating in a draft, etc...
