For people that purchase 6,000 rounds of ammo within a short period of time, we should conduct a more extensive background check. Now for something I never heard of until 3 weeks ago . I stopped at a Menards to get some paint and other items I needed to work on my house. One of the things I bought was a couple gallons of muriatic acid ( which is used for cleaning concrete b4 a painting project ) which is what I bought it for. Checkout girl calls over a manager with a ledger then they tell me I have to show my drivers license cuz I'm buying this acid. Then the manager writes down my info into this ledger " cuz there's too many people buying this stuff for nefarious purposes ". I was really surprised. Never heard of this kinda thing being done b4.
Can't say I blame em though. I'm sure someone has ( or will eventually ) bitch about their rights being infringed upon somehow - me I got no problem with it.

I see a move toward bio-marking and geolocating the big guns w/current deactivation chips. I'm sure they will let us have the pea-shooters. Me, I want the DIY Metal Storm and mini rail gun. :smile:

It was analogy about my opinion on the subject of assault rifles. So no, it doesnt make a damn bit of difference in my opinion. So long as people are allowed to buy hunting rifles and handguns, they can still "bear arms" as per the Constitution.

But what is if you used your Automatic Weapon in a controlled Environment?
