For people that purchase 6,000 rounds of ammo within a short period of time, we should conduct a more extensive background check. Im not saying we should prevent people from being able to purchase that many, but i think when it happens, the FBI should conduct a more extensive background check of said individual. Now for something I never heard of until 3 weeks ago . I stopped at a Menards to get some paint and other items I needed to work on my house. One of the things I bought was a couple gallons of muriatic acid ( which is used for cleaning concrete b4 a painting project ) which is what I bought it for. Checkout girl calls over a manager with a ledger then they tell me I have to show my drivers license cuz I'm buying this acid. Then the manager writes down my info into this ledger " cuz there's too many people buying this stuff for nefarious purposes ". I was really surprised. Never heard of this kinda thing being done b4.
Can't say I blame em though. I'm sure someone has ( or will eventually ) bitch about their rights being infringed upon somehow - me I got no problem with it.
