    How many times do you want to jump out of bed at 6:00 AM to watch the local weather forecast for a reason that has nothing to do with the weather. Lauren Whitney gives Denverites a reason to get up early.

    DENVER (CBS4)- Goodbye clouds, hello sunshine! Monday’s clouds are long gone, and we’re off to a sunny Tuesday.


    Thanks to the sunny skies and lack of clouds, we’re in for a warm up today. Temperatures will rise to the upper 80s and low 90s across the Front Range and plains. The high country will stay fairly mild, reaching the 60s and 70s. Sunny skies are expected statewide, with a very slight chance for afternoon thunderstorms in the high country and down into the San Juans.
