Update a little late today, as I recover from that fantastic MNF game! Just a thought, If these teams keep “giving” us these victories, I’ll take it! Perhaps the common denominator is that the Bears force teams into playing crappy!

Menace v. Papabear
Poor Derek! For the second time this season, he had his Monday Night guy juuuust short-change him. Riding his huge day from Anquon Boldin, he must have felt pretty good about Matt Forte sealing his win. Forte fell just 6 yards shy of the points he needed to defeat Menace. Menace got a big day out of Dustin Keller, and the last minute FG from Robbie Gould put him over the top.
Menace—90 Papabear—89

Norman v. Bigwill
In the Monday Night QB battle, Norman (Rodgers) outscored Will (Cutler) 23-15, but Rian Lindell (!) got Will 12, and PIT DEF got him 18, enough to counter the scratch of Ryan Mathews.
Bigwill—96 Norman—86

Globe of Frogs v. Hammer Of The Gods
Hammer got 47 points out of P. Manning and CJ2K in a big victory over Globe, knocking out the last undefeated team in the league. Props for a solid waiver-wire pickup in Louis Murphy. Globe got 26 from Phillip Rivers, but his RB’s, in particular, came up small for him.
Hammer—95 Globe—64

Riczaj v. BearfanMike
Both teams broke 100, and each had spectacular days from most of their players. The only player who didn’t score at least 8 for Riczaj was Sproles, with a paltry 0.62. BFM got big days out of Flacco, Maclin, Mendenhall, MIN DEF, and Janikowski, but Janko’s 3 missed field goals must weigh heavily on BFM’s mind.
Riczaj—111 BFM—100

American Pitbull v. Nick
American Pitbull is riding high with Mike Vick, and it even prompted a change in team name. Vick’s Pits had the biggest score of the week, with contributions from Vick, Mike Wallace, Gates, and Cedric Benson. Nick refuses to come to terms with Ryan Grant on IR, and in spite of production from Malcolm Floyd & Michael Turner, couldn’t push past the Vick juggernaut.
American Pitbull—121 Nick—84

Koko v. Boochee
Koko had a few guys go off, but most of his team disappointed. Welker w/ 4 catches for 45, Shiancoe 1 for 7. AP pulled his meat out of the fire, however, and got 31 points. Even with Tony Gonzales, Randy Moss, Jamaal Charles, and even Devin Hester pulling down respectable points, Kevin Kolb as QB was just too large an anchor to overcome.
Koko—101 Boochee—75

Koko moves back into his natural position atop the league

Next week’s matchups:
American Pitbull v. Boochee
Riczaj v. Hammer Of The Gods
Bigwill v. Nick
Norman v. Papabear
Menace v. Globe Of Frogs
