Are you highlighting the "stake" amount and then typing in what you want before hitting "Bet Now"? Sorry, but don't want to make assumptions.

Just placed a bet, make sure you click the proper box under the stake column.
hmm thats strange.....it doesnt have that option for me. There is no bet now button, I am familiar with this set up because it is the same as the other mma forum I am on and it definetaly isnt working on my end.
I wonder if it all has to with my current privilages? I have so few posts, do I have to have so many to be permitted maybe?

Nah, it's not just you. Something isn't working out well on the programming side of it.
