My Dad was at the game when he broke the rushing record against the saints. They gave fans a poster in honor of the accomplishment. My pops gave it to me:
I was at a Bulls game when I was 8 or 9 and Walter was there. Needless to say there was a line of people trying to get his autograph while the game was in process. He signed every autograph with a smile on his face. I'm sure he could've had security stop the line, but he didn't. The line was literally there the whole game, lol.
Yeah, my Dad is a big reason why I'm such a big fan of The Bear. I shared and continue to share great times together over a Bear game. We both have a Payton jersey to wear on Sunday.
That's one of the greatest things about football. Fam and friends getting together on sundays to drink and watch the Bears.
I took my youngest daughter to her first game this season. She loved it of course.She had that look of awe (through drunk eyes) when we entered Soldier Field that I have every time. I loved that!
