wish coud find the stats on it.. figure its samurai that hold it( or maybe buffone because he lasted 14 years) , but can't find the stats on it..( do you know a site that tracks tackles for older players?
his HOF says 1,488 tackles
http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/me...=196&tab=Stats
The problem is the NFL stats at game MUCH different than the teams stats, which are usually inflated.. Normally use the NFL game stats.. but not sure what that 1,488 is?
NFL,com lists brian at 959.

Bears set another record tonight! At least a franchise record.
The offensive line has given up 10 sacks in one game. Which is the most they have ever given up in a single game before!

That is quality FA and OL drafting right there folks. Give JA much props for putting this together, and double to Tice and Martz for exposing the OL for what they are.
-
yea man, JA did a great job building this line, lets give him an extension.
-
trade 2 drafts for a franchise qb, and put him in a pop warner ol w/average wr's and then bring in an OC that believes in 5-7 step drops. Yep that's a combo for sucess.

i think this was the worst offensive line performance I have ever seen.

Apparently there was at least one other. They kepy saying 10 sacks was a Bears Franchise record, not an NFL record. I wonder what that number was.

Extra point: Bears kicker Robbie Gould became the fourth player in franchise history to reach the 600-point plateau this week with a 40-yard field goal against the New York Giants.
Gould, 28, has scored 602 points in five-plus seasons with the Bears. He trails top scorers Kevin Butler (1,116 points), Walter Payton (750 points) and Bob Thomas (629 points).
