Things I noticed (especially regarding Chester Taylor)

Obviously, Lovie --and now Martz-- are stubborn as hell. They'd rather do the same thing over and over and NOT make changes when the passing game is suffering just for the sake of "being in charge".

Yes, our offensive line is absolutely horrible. No excuses.

    Here's what I noticed most:

*Chester Taylor rushed 3 times for 22 yards. Yet, I don't think he ran ONCE in the second half. When we DID run, it was primarily Forte (all alone in the backfield). Way to keep the opponent on its toes. The Bears kept on giving it to Forte for 1 yard runs. Over and over. Why did we even get Taylor from the Vikings? (Probably not to use him-- just to take away a Vikings' weapon.) What a waste of talent!

*Since the constant passing wasn't working, why not use a two-back backfield and hand off to Taylor once in awhile? That might open up the passing game again.

*Todd Collins does not even REMOTELY look like a quarterback. (Physically or athletically)

*Caleb Hanie should be our 2nd string QB.

    *Good God, we looked horrible.

*95% of us on this site could coach da Bears better than those no-talent ass clowns (Lovie and Martz).

I'd say you made a HUGE... MAJOR... mistake in your post.

    and one more thing

Still benching Devin Aromashadu simply because he's not effective in the slot is NO REASON to keep him out of the game entirely. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Aromashadu kicks ass as a WR. Put him where he's most effective. He WILL make plays--- he's probably the best receiver on the Bears.* But dysfunctional fathers Lovie and Martz want to make what they consider "a point" by making DA sit just because DA "needs to learn to be better in the slot."

*Disclaimer: None of this actually matters (except in theory) because of our piece of s**t offensive line. A QB needs time to make a pass.

The thing I noticed was that Lovie and Martz DIDN'T make the adjustments tonight. The previous games they did, we all noticed it and we were happy Turner was finally gone.
I'm mystified as to why they didn't adjust the playbook tonight.

I noticed this as the season started. The O-line is still in need of work, no running game, Wr's need to get better and the D-line needs to put more pressure in the back field and secondary is getting better. Bears have been lucky and it just ran out tonight against a strong d. Now I am worried what the team is going to do if Cutler needs to sit for a few weeks. I have also seen reports about the Bears depth. They got depth on d as usual, but not on offense. It is going to take some work for this team to try and make playoffs.

Yeah, go4bears... no running game--- but also because we're not using our RB's the right way. Chester Taylor needs more than 3 carries per game. He's better than Forte, yet we stuck with Forte over and over and over and over. And how about a two-back backfield? C'mon Martz... it's called imagination.

Folks, Edwin Baldwin played in this game. I understand the need to find a solution to the oline troubles, but my god, this man wan on our practice squad two weeks ago, and active for the first time last week. We were running people in and out of there that had no business being out there.
