Food for thought
Hunter Hillenmeyer was put on IR with a concussion. Likely because he has suffered a few others in his career.
Jay Cutler now has suffered a concussion. Anyone know how many Jay has had?
I know they are two different levels of importence to the team, and I hope Jay comes back because the season is over without him, but if they don't put him on IR, that's may lean more towards the conspiracy that Hunter was put on IR because he is a player rep.

Reason: Importence and impotence are two totally different things

waaaaaay to early for Conspricacy stuff benj, imo.
Hunter has years of concussion history before this Camp, and then got concussed and so bad he couldn't play the preseason, then got sick and vomitting 2 weeks after the Concussion, as to why they shut him down.
jay a completely different situation and way to early to be jumping the gun,, take a breath and let's see how jay does this week and if practing, if having any lingering effects, etc before bringing in the Men in black

The only thing that scares me is that the OL is bad enough to where this could happen 1 or 2 more times against top teir D's.
After the Dallas game I heard on one of the sports stations(really want to say it was ZZ) saying that teams were going to learn from that game that you don't need to blitz our O, b/c that is how you will get burned; but let the front 4 match up w/the OL and the DL would beat them everytime; you saw that tonight...
That being said, we are still 3-1, still on top of the Div w/2 div wins....got to move to a 3 step drop; OR if you want the play to last longer move the qb out of the pocket and throw out of the pocket. We have to protect our qb's in other ways b/c the OL cannot; nor can our TE's and rb's(Olsen, Manu and Forte all were into block and the qb still got sacked).

Benji, I don't have any doubt in my mind... that isn't quite what you meant to say...
Or.... maybe it was?

when your qb takes ten hits a game even if he is good to go he could be held out for a couple weeks to let it fully heal

Personally, I wouldn't even consider him playing this week, even if the docs said he could.

Im not expecting him to play. Another ten hit game from another good defense like the Panthers and we could lose Cutler for the year
-
Please play Hanie. If Cutler is cleared to play, make him a backup in case we get in trouble or something.
