players with Great Talent can play bad... even for stretches at a time...
Tommie Harris is a great talent worthy of 1st/2nd round competition....
take Alber haynesworth... Best DT in the league... playing like the worst. is AH done?? hell no. plenty left in the tank... same with Tommie....
someone jsut needs to find the "motivate" button... and I think he'll find it on another team. (T.H.)
but whatever... I'm sick of knowing what the hell I'm talking about only to have a million know nothings tell me I'm retarded...

Albert Haynesworth was a Pro Bowl player and candidate for defensive player of the Year in 2008, and the best offer for him has been a 4th round pick by the Titans.
Tommie Harris has never as good as Albert Haynesworth so why would someone give up a 1st round pick for him?
Tommie is going to get cut and might not catch on anywhere after this.

windy i 'get" you have a very bias hatred of tommie, and nothing will ever change that, but making definitvie statmentsw that you have not a clue about, just doesn't make sense.
granted you 'hope" that is what will happen, but I highly doubt it, and I know you always ignoer tommie will on;y be making 1.4 mill for NOT a fiscal risk and unlike albert making $8 mill with $20 mill bonuses, its world's different, and at that price, tommie if can play even 50% of what tommie is capable of, will be worth it, and why he's not cut

4th round pick and they didn't jump?!?!?!?!?
Maybe cause haynseworth is worth more from a talent perspective. he's attitude is WAAAAY worse than Tommies and that put's teams off...
the point I'm trying to make is from a pure talent stand point...
Haynesworth is being a bigger cry baby than 3 Tommie Harris'. THAT is why he wont get more than a 4th offered up.
if AH get's on his horse and puts his crybaby crap away... what do you think they could get THEN? or would they even trade him???
Tommie Harris is still worth high draft picks, or established veteran talent. End of discusion.

If that were the case I think he'd be gone already because it appears this coaching staff isn't too high on him anymore.

anyone who thinks we're better off Releasing Tommie than looking at trade options is a damn fool.
We could upgrade the O-line in a heads up trade.
high draft pick 1st or 2nd depending on the team...
no.... you know what.... your right... let's not explore ANY OPTIONS with Harris.... we'll just throw him in the trash heap and let some team grab him up for nothing.

my head hurts.
Who in their right mind would give up a high draft pick for Tommie Harris? Second, Jerry Angleo would use that pick on the defensive line or trade the pick down for my crap draft picks.

Normally I would agree that Tommie would have value but when he's traded it's based on logically his most recent body of work. Currently you have a player that:
Gets benched b/c of poor play
Has a history of knee problems
Is rested more than other players and very near a special case
The market for him is NOT going to bear a high pick unless someone gambles not risks. A gamble is a spin of the wheel where a risk is more calculated.
Tommie is a GAMBLE
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

hows your kevin payne jersey doing? You get too attached to players. Look at reality. And Hayneworth doesnt have an injury history like Harris.

Truth but I live in DC and I heard Fat Albert's interview the other day with local radio people where he was saying he doesn't like being famous. Doesn't want the fame, just wants to do his job and be normal. Dude has got a lot of social issues:
"I mean, I'm not for sale. Yeah, I signed the contract and got paid a lot of money, but ... that don't mean I'm for sale or a slave or whatever."
