Honest observation of last nights game.
Since I am seeing a ton of stories and I have no clue on what is fact and what if fiction I will give my own view of the game. Jay got his ass kicked, it doesn't matter what excuse or story anybody can paste about other players taking this kind of beating he got nearly killed yesterday. I don't recall a qb getting hit this much ever in any game. Lovie or Martz is a total idiot for not pulling Jay earlier in the game. I swear to god this is one thing I hate about our HC. When you franchise is getting hit about every other play you need to do something than stand on the side lines with that emotionless expression on your face. Martz you need to switch up the game plan a bit more yet I think you had your hands full. Tice your line played like shit but then again you can't fix defective in a few games. Angleo you should be forced to give Virginia and Micheal sponge baths until you die.
On a positive note our defense looked good. Even without an offense they kept us in the game late and they made plays to get us the ball. Too bad the giants defense stepped up and destoyed our offensive line. I am really really impressed with peppers, if we only had another pass rusher we would be lights out on defense. Peppers is amazing and I hope the other linemen get better.
Our running game needs to improve at all costs. I think it is time to start chester Taylor. After talking to BDM in a different thread I noticed he is not used enough and when he is on the field he seems to move forward and not into the pile. I like forte but I think he is not getting the job done but I don't fault him, I fault the POS offensive line Jerry Angelo has provided us.
Is the season over? I say no but if Jay continues to get hit like he has in the last 4 games his career will be shorten real fast. I like the kid but the hits, not just sacks are piling up on him. Look at how well Kyle Orton is playing and I am a big Kyle Orton fan. I know of a few people on here that threw Kyle under the bus and now the kid is playing great with a different coaching staff. The bottom line is we need a change and we need it soon.

Yeah, Cutler got the snot kicked out of him unfortunately and this could of been prevented with a proper offensive line. He could of thrown at least a few of those away, but it's kind of hard to think that quickly when every defensive player is rushing at you.
The defense played hungry and never gave up throughout the whole game. They did give up a TD at the end, but that was due to fatigue.

Video was acting real slow for me only saw first play Faulk dissected and I think it was too late at that point. Cutler's bell already rung and he didn't look like he knew what he was even doing out there. Usually that ball is out and he's rolling but last night everytime I saw him dropback he looked lost and held the ball. Than when they showed him on the sidelines he would be squinting and stuff like he had a sever migraine. I thought he may just be playing sick as a dog, but turns out when you take 3,439 sacks in 3 months body starts to wear down.

Before the trade I quesitoned if it was worth 2 firsts and KO, that when you looked Cutler the better qb, but when you broke down the #'s down into per attempts he was not worth the 2 firsts and KO considering he had much denvers better wr's, ol, and hc/oc were. There was no way he was going to do that here w/a shitty OL and no WR.
In the 2nd year we are still waiting on OL and WR help, and that is what really pisses me off. I'll be honest I was pissed about the pics last year, but I'm actually stunned at how many yards and td's he threw also that showed how much more potential he has...but a fat lot of good all that talent is going to do b/c that OL, which just keeps getting worse year after year, and he's going to be lucky to survive the season. The wr's are not helping, Hester doesn't know where to line up still; DA(the only guy he trusts) is hated by the coaching staff(after his comments probalby deserving), and Bennet/Knox are good, but nothing special at this time. The TE's are not helping either, what good is a TE that cannot at least put a chip block on; and quits on routes?
Before anyone jumps down my throat, Cutler is the better qb, I just cannot figure out why you would invest so much into a qb, and then put so little around him.

I believe this could be survivable IF we had a SEMBLANCE of a run game, blocking TE's, half (or fullbacks) that could block. Manu imo has done nothing who's specality is blocking and should be cut for a TE who will. I've said it's going to take at least 2FA's and half the draft just to attempt to right the ship. Now I believe we need a few blocking backs and TE's as well.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

As I see it the band aid JA has used for the o-line has bleed through and since we are already in regular season, the team needs another band aid until we can do some offseason building. I just hope Cutler can survive the season.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!

i agree with that assessment 4th.
Chester should start, if not for anything else, at least change that up and see if it helps. But it needs to be combined with Martz actually utilizing the RB more then just in screens and dump offs.
