hell... I'll take Jamarcus Russell before collins.... not that JR is good... it's that Collins has no buisness on a football field... even his PADS looked out of date.

A vet Qb like Collins that has studied the Air coryell system for 5 years in KC KNOWS the basics and knows the playbook under vermeil in KC ( same as vermeil-martz with rams), so that was WHY he was the smart choice here.. not as a long term anything, but a Qb that didn't need his hand held and knew the system already and could potentially come in the first few weeks of the season if needed.
BTW todd threw 5 td's in 2007 on redskins..and was 3-0

When they said Cutler was coming in to start the 2nd half, I was really disappointed. But when they showed it was Todd Collins instead of Hanie, I was in even more shock. I thought Hanie was surely our #2 and can at least scramble and make plays, they surely needed someone to get a few first downs and let the defense take a break.
