I don't know what it could take to fix this by this Sunday....but I'm certainly NOT "packing it in". :-).
Could very well make the case for worst Offensive performance. Getting Williams back will help if not this week then next. Garza should go but maybe not Louis so this hurts...plug and play with the OL kills especially in pass pro as we saw. Giants killed us without the blitz which is horrid. TEs/RBs horrible as well. So, yeah, enough to get down but still 3-1 with probably the most favorable 3 game stretch of the season next.

and if we get to 6-2 or better by the 1/2 way point, I will be a very happy camper and think momentum and winning does beget more winning

especially since two of those wins came against division rivals

This O has shown it can play to win, Dallas and that is in wk 2. All in all they have to get better, yeah regressed last week but I don't think that was systematic but player performance. 6-2 or better is very doable and that should build confidence. We'll need that and improved O play to get through the AFC East which IMO will be biggest challenge.

yep that is what this week will show... and while all killing the "O" line the rb's and te's also blew blocks for sacks.. and "if" they make those we 'only" have 5 sacks( with 2 being cutler running out of bounds), which while would still suck, not the armeggeddon we have now about it..think that is fixable.. and for "now" chalking it up to the 'disaster game' most teams have in a year, where nothing seems to go right. If nothign else any 'smugness" or "cockiness" is wiped off the plate for all on this team for alooong time, and that may be a hidden blessing

I prefer to have coordinators that suck as head coaches, because otherwise they will leave for sure and get HC jobs. Lebeau returned to Pitt and they have had the best D in the league for many years now, and he ever said he had no intentions of being a HC again. That was the best case scenario for Pitt. If Martz does a great job this year I would hope he says the same thing.

hmm good point just.. BTW good to see ya here : )
think martz more than Marinelli may have designs at HC again, but i'd like to think he may stya of 2010 successful for at least another year before moving on
