oh, and yes...the OL IS all that matters. If the first thing that popped into your head after watching Sundays game was "man, we should really replace Mark Anderson," then you are being dumb and childish.

Dumb and childish? What's wrong, feel like you're banging your head against the wall? Welcome to our world.
Dumb and childish? I don't know if you meant to convey a superiority complex over some of the rest of us, but in my eyes you pretty much nailed it right there. Thanks.
glad we agree : )

I'm not really upset about what Angelo did today. I am upset about what he didn't do before the season started.
I am annoyed that the assclown has really only drafted ONE tackle in the last 3 years, who missed his whole rookie season because he was injured. When Jeff Otah and Sam Baker were still on the board... and Clady going a few picks ahead of us... Other than Williams, he has drafted like two other late round guards and tackles.
I am annoyed that everyone and their grandmother could see Kreutz getting thrown around last year and they did nothing. I am annoyed that everyone could see that even after the shuffle at the end of the year last year, we could see that Omiyale and Shaffer weren't going to cut it. And in the draft, and offseason, we make no moves for a legit O-lineman.
There are always ways to upgrade your offensive line in the offseason, especially when you are going into the season with what appeared to be one of the worst offensive lines last year.

and if we cut anderson we still have brown's $5.5 mill so that makes no sense
Right, because you can only have ONE good FG blocker on a team, how stupid of me. Same for run blockers...how dumb and chilidish of me. And AB's ability to force turnovers and his situational awareness.
But yeah...about that "freeing up" of 5.5Million....for what exactly? Todd Collins? Manumaluena? Charles Grant? Yeah...we definitely put that money to good use.

1. jeff otah injured AGAIN for panthers and not playing

I think many praised the fact we were actually spending picks on the OL. In the absence of high picks being spent on the OL you have to get excited over something...

So you think getting peppers= no one needed to be cut and taking that one for teh heck of it? and specifcally on the DE position,, we shall agree to disagree about that
amd yes on the FG blocking team you have izzy/adams trying for the inside push with what used to be brown and now is peppers coming behind them if get a space for the block.. see the pakcers game for this play and NO don't ahve 2 guys for it at once

I dont care...anyone. Make a trade, practice squad guys,. UFL...I DONT CARE...ANYONE...i rather him try to find a solution to the problem, since what we have isnt working. I rather have a dozen scrubs come in to try out and play a few downs and be disappointed in that regard, since at least i could give credit to JA for TRYING to fix the problem.
But you know what DOESNT fix the problem? Signing a scrub QB like Todd Collins. Cutting your DE only to replace him with another mediocore one. That DEFINITELY isnt going to fix our OL problem.

Sorry, I would have Melton out at end. He just does not look like he has the strength inside in the pass rush.
As for the OL I agree with DaBears, Mankins or bust, unless John Ogden wants to come out of retirement.
