Could Ruskell ask Paul Allen to buy the Bears?

Now I am talking mainly offense I will admitt the d looks good.
We have four TEs...really we need four TEs and none can block or atleast not block very well.
No fullbacks oh wait des clark is slotted as a full back.....
No depth for the O-line and we go and pick up some reject d-lineman along with dumping one of our own.
The o-linemen we have are sub-par expect for one and he is getting old.
The injuries mostly on the offensive side of the ball.
Not to mention an average WR corp.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!
I am here to chew bubble gum and kick butt and I am all out of bubble gum!

Nothing is worse than Jerry Angelo.
Is Ruskell Bill Parcells? NO, but at least the guy has made more then a couple decent draft picks in 10 years

So for all this "inditement of Jerry" that he's cutting his own picks - he isn't; Tim is, and Jerry is looking to either retire or move on from the GM position - either with the Bears or with another organization - and not have to make draft picks going forward.
Believe it or not, I always believed Jerry knew enough about the operations side of football that he'd make a decent Team President - just as long as he isn't the one picking and evaluating talent.
But like I have been telling people since the hiring of Ruskell - Tim is going to be the GM sooner rather than later, and according to Hub Arkush, who was on the Score with B&B - he essentially is the de-facto GM right now...
I found this on another board. This would be good news not that I am a huge fan of Ruskell, but anything is better than Angelo.
So you're a fan of going from BAD to not so bad because we don't know that much about him.. Sorry, fire everyone from the Team President down for this mess. The bears are lucky to be 3-1, they should be 1-3. But that is neither here nor there. This team lacks home grown talent.. and that is on the shoulders of the GM and HC. Now we hear that the GM isn't doing his job anymore.. Hmmm Sorry bud, but if I start to hand off my duties to others and just sit here and look pretty, I'd be fired.
Time for a regime change in Halas.. Sadly Luck has helped them stay in their current jobs.. Hopefully Luck ran out and the lack of talent on this team will start to shine.

I think everyone is in agreement that a regime change would be the greatest thing to ever happen, but it might not be realistic.
Tim Ruskell is a step in the right direction, although a small step.
I would like something for Christmas [Ruskell] apposed to nothing [Angelo] even if it is not what I want [Parcells].

As much as I love Ditka, I would NEVER hire him as a GM. I can't get over the thought of trading an entire years worth of draft pics for Ricky Williams.

Sorry, if I am not a huge fan of promoting anyone in house to control this team. Maybe I am the only one who dreads Draft time these days as I don't think we get anyone that can help this team.. which has been the case in recent memories.
I like Parcells, just I don't think he is the be all end answer. Miami is in the right direction, but he has stepped down as GM if memory serves me correctly..
As for who I go after.. right now, I'm drawing a blank.
