LOL!!!!!!.......Ok, I was referring to what Angelo said about if they were to find a better player out there that could come in and help:

JA: “We’re always looking. I’m never going to say we’re going to stay status quo. If there’s a good player out there who can help us, we’ll look at him. We have no problem doing that. We don’t get in a comfort level when we’re doing well or make knee-jerk moves when things aren’t going well. The formula is the same whether we’re winning or losing. We’ll continue to look. But it’s hard to find quality players who can come in and make you better. It’s not easy to do, and we won’t make changes just for the sake of change.”
Granted, he's not on the Oline itself.....but, he IS on the Offensive side of the ball ~ and a definite UPGRADE from anything that we currently have receiving.

And since the entire Offense SUCKS ..... then I would say that Moss fits the definition of "But it’s hard to find quality players who can come in and make you better".

Just saying.......they're full of shit if they claim that they're "always looking for better players" all that hard. There was one staring them right in the face this morning.

Angelo: Lack of draft picks hurting Bears offensive line

JA: “The key to good offensive line play is based on cohesion and a great offensive line coach

Okay, please explain what the hell was going on with Harry Hiestand.

LM: What’s the likelihood of the Bears signing or trading for an offensive lineman, or are you expecting to move forward with the group that you have in place?
    JA: “We’re always looking.

Yup, just obviously not hard enough.

"There have been a lot of very good offensive lines in the NFL historically that weren’t composed of household names.”
Really? Anyone have memory failure when it comes to remembering their teams better offensive linemen?
Generally OL have to be stellar or ludicrously bad to become famous? Skill positions get the glory while a very good OL is relied upon to quietly get the job done. "Turnstile" is hardly glowing reference.

I'll answer this.. No I don't want Moss here.. Hard to get the ball to him when the JA approved OL can't block a 2 year old.

    NO......NE is not stupid.

But ........ WE ARE DESPERATE!!!!!! ......

This team, or should I say Offense, reminds me of when I went to see the NEAR BEARS at Soldier Field ~ that year that the league went on strike.

Actually, forgive me. Even THAT offense was way better! .....

But, seriously?......I really can't wait for this Sunday!
They have GOT to be better then they were last week........don't they?

    .........

if the UFl player doesn't cost a us draft pick and get a minimum salary and be cut at anytime..he's a back up and far different than:

someone losing a 3rd round pick, paying $6.4 mill AND having him leave for nothing at the end of year..because a F/A

or do you not see the apples/oranage difference?

Not as easy or black and white as you tried.. : )
