Oh, and it IS a nice world i live in.
as he is type 1 diabetic it is NOT ONLY NOT retarded, but a very valid question and line of thinking. Was it the cause sunday? probably not, but to ask sure is valid and like ANY physical ailment, disease a professional athelte has of course can and many times WILL affect performance. to think differently would be retarded. And sure would behoove the Doctors, team and Cutler himself to not only be asking but increasing the monitoring to make sure it is not- he stopped using the 'pump" because it would fall out of the catheter, but maybe "if" having any flucuation or had some spikes sunday, i sure hope the 'retarded line of thinking" and 'retarded medical staff" do look into this and make sure it is not contributing. despite you finding it a 'retarded line of thinking"

Yeah, well, it's hard to talk through a feeding tube. Unless, they got one of those Stephen Hawking talking things which Jay could use.

    yep, retarded line of thinking.

Hes had it ever since he was with the Bears, and its damn ironic that it is only being mentioned NOW, after he had his cage rattled from shitty OL play. Its a distraction, to deflect attention away from the real issue, which is our crappy OL. Also, HE SUFFERED A CONCUSSION on Sunday. Fact. So you can hypothesize about what Diabetes may or may have not have been the cause of, it is all conjecture, where as his CONCUSSION is not. And guess what? Diabetes doesnt cause concussions...getting your head slammed into the ground by a defense player who shredded our OL DOES cause that.

So yeah, you can sit there and think about all the wonderful detriments of diabetes and the effect on our QB, i see it as a waste of time that is deflecting attention away from our real problem, hence a retarded line of thinking.

huh? i guess you don't know the backround- and jumping to false conclusions as usual

Cutler has ALWAYS been monitored, since lost the 35 lbs and originally diagnosed. if at game you can see him on the sidelines taking readings and monitoring it, it is not just NOW. And unfort many of the "sympotons" of a concussion and diabetic shock are the same- So yes he can have BOTH problems(which of course you refuse to ackowledge or realize).. and If having a diabetic problem at the start of game( are wrong, biometric off), he would of course have alot of the confusion saw, which then ALSO leads to with a bad line the ABD DECSIONS and mssing the open Check down's that CAUSE MORE HITS and maybe the concussion.

To get a better control of his 'swings" he tried the insulin pump to help, but stopped it because kept falling out- which again you can he "fine" for months ,but all it takes is one episode or one insulin shock to send the body down the wrong path.

To completely disreagrd even the 'possbility" of someone with this having a problem, completely absurd.

Jay Cutler Reveals He Has Type 1 Diabetes

Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, he told CBS4's Vic Lombardi Thursday

Either they don't produce enough insulin or don't use it correctly. With the Type 1 form, the body's immune system attacks insulin-producing pancreatic cells, so that patients require insulin injections to survive.

"It's something that he's dealing with and something a lot of other people have," Garafalo said. "Even though it's a serious condition, it's a condition that can be managed. That's the way he's treating it right now.

"Everything's fine," Garafalo continued. "His condition is fine."

Cutler, entering his third NFL season, threw for 3,497 yards and 20 touchdowns last season after supplanting Jake Plummer with five weeks left in the 2006 season.

Trust me, i know more about the background then you do. And yes, he DOES get monitored, thats the point. He checks his levels 4-6 times before kcikoff and makes sure his levels are in the 150-160 range, and gets checked frequently during the game as well. So if his Diabetes had EVER become an issue affecting his game play, we definitely would have heard about it by now. But we havent...until this retarded article that tries to deflect attention away from the real issues at hand by bringing up shit that had no bearing whatsoever on what actually happened. And of course, you are the first to defend it instead focusing on what we should be which is our crappy OL and the concussion that Jay suffered because of it.

Blame something that is controlled like a ingrained habit or cumulative effects of hits during a season? Hmmmm.....yes, yes THIS time it was diabetes but if we win we wont blame the diabetes we will blame Wilford Brimley.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

    Restore the roar!
