Why are we even discussing Cutler's diabetes when that's the obvious reason we couldn't get across people's pads, RBs didn't have the head on swivels, and everyone generally just got owned? What's there to discuss? To believe it's his med condition that contributed means A) Jay was totally irresponsible to not check himself and play when he wasn't 100% B) the Bears med staff, trainers and coaches ALL dropped the ball ensuring the Franchise QB with diabetes wasn't good to go

So if his Diabetes had EVER become an issue affecting his game play, we definitely would have heard about it by now. But we havent...until this retarded article that tries to deflect attention away from the real issues at hand by bringing up shit that had no bearing whatsoever on what actually happened. And of course, you are the first to defend it instead focusing on what we should be which is our crappy OL and the concussion that Jay suffered because of it.
wy would 'we" have heard about it? its a private medical matter between a player and his Doctors. illegal to release that.
Seriously why would a team EVER disclose that? And not just if a problem , fix it and not talk about it?

I said IF IT AFFECTED HIS GAMEPLAY ya r-tard. One concern that Jay realizes is that if his blood sugar is too low, he could very well pass out in the middle of a game, if that were to ever happen, the Bears would inform the press/media as to WHY he passed out. They release medical information all the time when it concerns game play, when a player tears an ACL, they let everyone know. When a player like the Dallas Cowboy that got knocked around and suffered a concussion, we heard about it before the game was even over.
Also, im not going to listen to an idiot who writes an article and tries to make points when he cant even take the time to do BASIC research to learn that Jay has Type 1, not Type 2 diabetes. So yeah...as Nick pointed out...retarded.

I say sit him. Let's roll Hanie out there and give Jay another week to clear the cobwebs.

wat's with the name calling? oh yeah when you have nothing you do this.. i thought it wasn't allowed?
And So the ONLY thing you think happens if his insulin is off is "he would pass out'...
with that kind of ignorance, now 'getting" why you don't understand the subject matter. There are many smaller symptons the media and "you" do not know and can affect his play and never talked about, like.. well if the lack of focus, or confusion that can happen.. did.. i don't know, maybe have the diabetic player throwing INT's or making bad Decisions at times, that at first would jut have people yelling he stinks.. And since we have NEVER seen this from jay since he's been on the team, you are rght, no reason to ever think it has or can or ever will affect his play..lolololololol

Listening to BnB yesterday Hub made a comment on how Jay didn't come out for the 2nd half, which if it was a mild concussion he should have. I don't see Jay playing this week.. Collins is our QB..
