Forte does need to work on his vision while running. He just runs into the pile instead of seeing if he can bounce it out or hit a different whole. Forte does not weight enough to create wholes and we don't have a FB to help create wholes. This team needs a true FB.

I agree with both of those. Forte is really good catching the ball and running in open space, but Taylor is no slouch there either. Did anyone see that replay where they discuss MN and showed video of Taylor and AP running pass routes last year? They were showing how much faster Taylor ran his routes, and showed how quick off the cuts he was, then showed AP who looked way slower running the pass routes. It was pretty amazing the difference, they said the biggest offseason move the vikings made wasn't anyone they picked up, it was losing Taylor. They said Favre on 3rd down last year completed 60% of his passes, and this year its 40% ... .and thought alot of it had to do with Taylor.Originally Posted by nerrad
Yes, I'm aware Chester wasn't on the team, but if we're constantly mixing up every position, why not give him a chance?
