    I give you he is a better overall DE, but he is overpaid.. 6 years 91.5 Million.. Sorry, but I can't see him living up to that contract when he is 30 now. Freeney was given a 6year 72Million.. is Peppers worth 20mil more for about the same production?

    Sacks- Freeney 84 Peppers 81
    INT- Freeney 0 peppers 6

    Sorry but I think we overpaid for a taller version of Freeney.

    There is no way I would take anyone over Peppers right now. He's dominating against the run, and he's beating double teams on every passing play. If the Bears had a pass rusher to go with him, it would be fantastic, unfortunately no one else is getting there. Maybe Izzy can help at DE, he's better there then in the middle.

    thrax dont get fooled with contracts in the nfl. Peppers deal is cuttable after three years. 50 mil of that he wont see. Now if he is still here after year six collecting that you are right. But just like Haynesworth deal no way he sees that portion.
