Pro Bowl Pace- Who do you think deserves it?

    Pro Bowl pace

The Bears player most deserving of Pro Bowl consideration after four games might not be Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs or Julius Peppers. Corey Graham had four special-teams tackles against the Giants, giving him 10 for the season, which puts him on pace to break the team record of 30 special teams tackles in a season set by linebacker Tim Shaw last year.

''We kicked to the right in that game a bunch,'' special teams coordinator Dave Toub said. ''That's his side and a lot of times he was beating double teams. To be able to do that in the NFL is tough. He was beating the double teams and going down and making tackles. He's on track right now to be our best-ever point champion."

Toub rewards players on a points system. Players receive three for a tackle, for example, and minus three for a missed tackle. A touchdown is worth eight. Toub said Graham has had between 23 and 28 points in each of the first four games and is one pace to break Brendon Ayanbadejo's record for special teams points in a season.
Ayanbadejo is a three-time Pro Bowl performer. Graham has made following in his footsteps a goal for the season.

''I enjoy playing special teams but if you're doing that you're not playing defense,'' said Graham, who is also a backup cornerback. ''It goes both ways. You always want to play defense but this is my role and I'm trying to make the best out of the situation. Right now, I'm a special teams guy.''

based on the first Quarter of season:

    1. Brian Urlacher-27 tackles, 1 sack, 3 PD,1 FF, 2 FR, 0 INT- just a force all around and "D" much better w/him

    2. Julius Peppers- 6 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 PD, 2FF, 0 FR,O INT, 1 blocked FG- a force each game even when not getting sacks

    3. lance briggs-27 tackles , 0 sacks, 3 PD, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 INT- Mr consistancy

    4. Jay Culter- 3rd in NFC in Qb rating(102.2), 3rd in Td's(6), First in yards per attempt( 8.9), 4th in Accuracy(66.7)

    Honorable mention( close)

1.. Cory graham- hard to get Props as a gunner- hopefully continues the good play

Peppers deserves to be in the HOF just off that one games performance where he blocked the field goal. It was sad watching that tackle trying to block him.

    1. When you start a sentance with a number, you are supposed to spell out the number.

    2. Numbers one threw nine are spelled out.

i think that is a pretty much honest assessment but with Cutler injured might want to hang him off the list for now
