Is it time for Kellen Davis to get a chance?

A huge problem in our run blocking and pass protection has been the TEs.
Greg Olsen blocks like a WR and is scared of contact.

Brandon Manamauluna has literally embarrassed himself out on the field each week.

Dez Clark is in the dog house for the dropped TD pass.

Why not start using Kellen Davis as our primary blocking TE. The guy is 6'7" 262lbs. and every time I have seen him on the field he has caught passes and given an effort as a blocker.

    NO. He can't block either.

If manu can not block the way we were led to believe, then we need to get Clark out there. With the way Manu is blocking this year, Clark is our best blocking TE.

They should bench all of the receivers, and run 4 TEs. Maybe we can invent the new T-formation: QB, RB, 5 OL and 4 TEs on the line.

I like it. Especially since we wouldn't be benching ALL receivers. We all know Olsen is just a big WR

true that. Can pass to Olsen, Pass to Forte or Taylor, or Cutler can scramble for the first down. Superbowl!! They wont know what hit em.

    Fixed.

If that dude ever realizes how big he is, and has the ability to run OVER those little db's, he'll be special.

Why the heck can't these guys WORK on their blocking? Last time I looked it was in the job description. If your a professional and you know your god-awful you would think pride alone you'd like to improve upon it. Esp. as a backup you would have time to at least show signs of improvement.

For one, from what we have seen, he isn't much better of a blocker than Olsen. In fact, some may even say that Olsen is a better blocker. That speaks volumes.

Kellen is worthless, he's a bigger Olsen; in all aspects, size weight and pussdom. Another perfect example of going after athletism over football players.
