He has to be better than Collins though.
Hell, any one of us on the board could have put up a better performance than he did yesterday

Collins was "insurance" that knew the system( 5 years at KC) and be the backup with hanie hurt in preseason w/o having to throw a playbook at him that would take alot of time to learn. With hanie back now healthy, his function done and hopefully never see him again.
And hopefully except for garbage time- we do not see hanie either : )

This has to be one of the top three or four worst QB performances I have ever seen. However that's just from watching Bears games.
Grossman's 0 rating game
Cutlers 4 rating game from last year
this one.

ironically henry burris throwing with his Eyes shut in the 2003 Panther game in charlotte up there also.. Craig "crumbles " krenzle 10-28 for 116 yards, 2 INT and not on the field for ANY points scored against tenn in 2004( punt return, Int return and a ogun safety) also needs mentioning( or throwing up)- but yeah Collins def. put his hat in the "worst Qb performance" category. hopefull never see him again now.

and to get back on topic, Forte looks really fast in the open field. Now lets keep getting him 20+ touches

we had 41 rushes,,, with forte 22 and taylor 18... that's a real nice ratio... With cutler it will go down, but part of that is the quick passes to forte, that are like runs, so don't midn that.. Like to see 20+ "touches" no matter how broken down each week

I like Hanie for a backup QB, he's accurate and can move. He was backup to start the season until he got hurt, so I'm not sure why he wasn't backup now that he's healthy again. Collins is the only thing that kept Carolina in the game or that was over in the first half.

Forte still had a lingering injury last year, and know that he is heslthy, he is playing like his rookie yesr
