Yep and depending on tonight's game.. next week may be the 1-3 vikes Vs the 1-3 Dallas which really will destroy one of those team's playoff chances and tailspin continuing... With that game and the packers playing miami, redskins the colts, atlanta at philly and saints at tampa- the "gap" we can gain over many teams should increase if the bears win.

I know the Bears have areas of concern, but why not be in the converstaion for best team in the NFC? If not the Bears then who? The Saints don't look like they can repeat. The other pre season picks for the NFC champs (dallas/green bay) have been beat by the Bears. The Giants looked great against us and good yesterday, but awful prior to that. Atlanta should be in the conversation too. Besides them maybe the Eagles, but who have they played?
So yeah, it may be too early to declare an NFC champ, but the Bears should be in the discussion.

Looks like Favre might get suspended for a few games, they may give birth to a nice little losing streak with their back-up QB under center even with Moss. It may be too much for Favre to overcome by the middle of the season. That leaves Green Bay. The Packers just got decimated with injuries and Aaron Rogers got a concusion Sunday against Washington. He may sit out next week. Things are looking good for the Bears to take the division. The Lions shouldn't be underestimated going forward, they're playing angry and pissed off! They definately won't go to the post season, but they could beat Chicago if they go into that game complacent.

Hmmm.. Now, don't get me wrong. I've been a HUGE Bears fan all of my life. I think we have potential. I think if our coaches were smarter and if we had a decent o-line, we may be a serious contenda. Again, we have some good (and some very good) players that can win games for us.
But... ummm.... We just beat the worst team in the league. I'm pretty sure that in our last two games combined, we've passed for less than 100 yards. Although our running game kicked in against the Panthers, well... they ARE the Panthers, right?
So... what do you guys think about what Deion said?

Who have the Bears played and Beat that makes you think they are good? If you are questioning the Eagles.. I hold off my judgment until I see how the Farve Moss combo looks.. The bears have yet to showcase to me they are a good team.. More like a lucky team.. I'm having 2001 flashbacks with this current squad.

I don't know who the best team is but the Bears are right there. If they an get an O-line upgrade, they could take the conference.

Detriot, Jacksonville, and San Fran. That is the three wins Philly has. Seriously dude. I know you are clueless, but look something up before you jump in the conversation. By the way, one of their two losses is to the Packers, who the Bears beat. The other was to another team not looking so good, Washington.
No matter how the Bears have won, they are 4-1.

So your argument is.. Who cares who the Bears beat they are 4-1.. But every other team lets nit pick on who they beat, then downplay their wins.. AS they are not the Bears..
Got it.

Lol, how many more wins will it take to "showcase" they are a good team...oh, no amount, because you've already played the "2001" card...and anything less then a Superbowl championship will be written off as being "lucky"...well played...you're covered your ass nicely...gotta keep that "I told you so" mentality alive anyway you can...lol..
