Deion Sanders: "The Bears may be the best team in the NFC."
No joke here. Deion really said that the Bears may be the best team in the NFC after his "Let's Get Primetime" (Top 10 Player Performances) video on NFL.COM tonight. (He rated Forte's performance #1.)
Hmmm.. Now, don't get me wrong. I've been a HUGE Bears fan all of my life. I think we have potential. I think if our coaches were smarter and if we had a decent o-line, we may be a serious contenda. Again, we have some good (and some very good) players that can win games for us.
But... ummm.... We just beat the worst team in the league. I'm pretty sure that in our last two games combined, we've passed for less than 100 yards. Although our running game kicked in against the Panthers, well... they ARE the Panthers, right?
So... what do you guys think about what Deion said?

I think this is proving to be a parity (parody) type of year. Deion will proclaim at least 4 other teams as the best in the NFC before the season ends.

This game against the Panthers was a lot like the first three wins of the year. An ugly win. We dominated the Panthers, somewhat, and actually ran all over them. That is a surprise since the Panthers knew all we were going to do is run.
Don't think I can call the Bears the best team in the NFC though.

Collins 32 yards, 4 ints and 6.3 passer rating was impressive yesterday.

We are one of the best teams, but I don't think anyone could say any team is definatively is the best team right now. NYG's look like they found their identity again w/how they whupped our ass, and followed it up w/kicking the Texans ass. Philly(w/Vick is very dangerous), Bears are good, we'll have to see how old man farve and moss and ap look, but they might be good, NO's is having an off year, but they are still the defending sb champs, and w/that O, if they make it to the playoffs they will be dangerous.

No, maybe about it...we are the best team in the NFC North...how many more wins and weeks as the division leader is it going take before even some of our own fan see that?
Edit: Misread what Deion had said...the whole NFC? ah, yeah, well...let's not get crazy...

Who cares, he's a backup QB. I don't care if he has -5 yards passing as long as the Bears win 23-6.

Oh, I agree we are the best in the NFCN.

Every "top" team in the NFC has holes. It's a matter of who's are more glaring. I don't care who predicts us to do what at this point in the season. I'm still very concerned about the o line.
