Well talked with some people today, and they say they are lightning up on the 4 hours even at the museum and planetarium, did they enforce it week 1? or did you not tailgate this year?.. and if did have you considered one of the lots not enforcing it?
We've had too good of a time there to move anywhere else...I hope your right on them lightening up. That would make the logistics of it all a lil bit easier.
As for this years game....thanks to the wife and I's 10 year anniversary (9/9) I couldn't make the season opener against Detroit. This is one of those "off" years where we have to catch the game in Detroit. Funny, cause even a Detroit fan (my buddy) would rather watch the game at Soldier Field.

The actual stadium isn't bad, but still a dome, so feels artifical and tailgating pretty abysmal. we have tailgated in the lots right up from the stadium, and 80% bear fans until 11:00am.. the kitty fans don't show until going right in..We also did the 'eastern market" tailgate scene one year. much better tailgating but a little further away
