he limped off the field pretty badly, but they worked on him on the sideline and he seemed to be moving alot better, as he tried walkig on it along the sideline- so i'd say the boot more "precautionary" than not playing, but he probably has a light week this week

The Seahawks can't win away from home. We can win this in a laugher with Briggs and Cutler, but we could still win by 10 without them both IMO

3. The run-heavy game plan created some changes in personnel usage. Tight ends Brandon Manumaleuna and Kellen Davis got much more work than usual. Wide receiver Earl Bennett was used with a three tight-end package and Devin Aromashodu got decent playing time, too. It all added up to significantly less work for Devin Hester and a reduced workload for Johnny Knox.
Manumaleuna had a big block on Forte's 68-yard touchdown run, and looked more comfortable run blocking than he had pass blocking. Who doesn't?
"A lot of it was Jay wasn't in there so we cut back a little bit on the passing," said Manumaleuna, who through the first four games had been on the field only 46 percent of the time. "Just a back-side cut off (on the long touchdown) and I washed the guy down. Matt was able to make the cutback and he had a lane there and hit it."
oh and after killing manu the last 2 weeks, he was alot better yesterday, so kudos for him for picking his game up, but still has a ways to go..

I think allot of people the way the game was going were just kept out precautionary.
and Izzy finally took advantage of the mismatches Peppers created

Instead of worrying about what went wrong, maybe we should focus on what went right, like Matt Forte running away from people, Danieal Manning returning the opening kickoff 62 yards AND making a pass breakup near the goal line. Corey Graham getting yet another special-teams tackle. Israel Idonije getting three sacks.
Instead of worrying about the future, maybe we should be happy with the bottom line. The Bears are 4-1, tied with Atlanta for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. The preseason favorite Cowboys, Saints and Vikings each already have two losses.
Do we dare take follow Lovie Smith's lead and look at the bright side? Somehow that seems highly unlikely.
And now, 10 OBSERVATIONS from the Bears-Panthers game:
