Im wondering if that was just him abusing a shit offense like Panthers or without the costarter crap he actually could get some rythm out there.

2 of the sacks happened over gross, who isn't shit- Though will say clausen also held the ball for way too long and one sack will probably be chaned to urlacher. Think its a combo of all.. and only time will tell if the one game abberation or the start of something much better

I thought the Bears D played great yesterday (not news, I know). They shut down Carolinas two headed beast of a running game (Stewart/Williams). Going into the game, the only way I thought the Bears could lose is if they allowed those two to run all over them and after Carolina's first series, I still wasn't so sure.
Our running game got off to a great start, but wasn't consistent. Forte looked better than any regular season game I can remember. I would have liked to see more consistent ball movement from this offense though. The third quarter was brutal. Collins at QB scares NO ONE. Carolina could load up the box and fire away! Our pass defense was still shaky.
I could go on, but I think we saw a good team (Bears) beat a really lousy team that was missing it's key offensive weapon. I sure hope Hanie moves to #2 at QB ahead of Collins. If we switch up our focus to the run game while Cutler is injured, why not start Hanie? He has shown he can throw the ball as well and so there's not much risk there. Before the Carolina game, you might say that with Collins, we'll manage the game better, but the dude threw 4 picks! Let Hanie get the game experience I say.

ANY decent qb could have had 2 easy TD's in the 3rd- they had 8 and sometimes 9 in the box and collins STILL couldn't get it to the wide open wr's... good news is we shouldn't ever see him again, and while lovie isn't saying yet, be SHOCKED if hanie isn't the back up this week to Cutler
