8 Packers 3-2-0
The reality for Green Bay is it's very hard to overcome numerous injuries on both sides of the ball. It will be a tremendous challenge for the coaching staff to find a way to get the backups that will be filling in to play at a high level. Expand Description

You can clearly see against the Jets how the addition of WR Randy Moss could help their passing game. He's the badly needed downfield passing threat that they have been missing with Sidney Rice out of the lineup. Expand Description

THe Queens did not look good last night, the Packers will not be able to continue to overcome the significant injuries that are racking up. Bears may not be elite yet, but they are playing at a high level, they are playing with a lot of heart, and they are winning games in different ways, building confdence along the way.
I look to the Bears to keep it up and the Queens to start putting things together, but still losing some tough games, and the Puke to fall off the radar.
yep had thought bears would be 11-5, packers 10-6, vikes 8-8 and lions 6-10.. only thing I would change now would be maybe one more "W" for us and a 9-7 and 7-9 for packers/vikes

I've had the Vikings missing the playoffs this year with GB winning the division. Looks like my Minnesota prediction seems to be on track.

Sporting news:
7. Green Bay Packers (4). This is a team built to fight through injuries, but QB Aaron Rodgers is irreplaceable
10. Chicago Bears (13). It was important to find their running game. Now, they must keep it up, regardless of the quarterback
19. Minnesota Vikings (17). Brett Favre-to-Randy Moss got a little warmed up in a loss Monday night. Up next: Dallas, Green Bay, and yes, New England.

yeah a large part of me had a 6-10 feeling for Vikes, but favre playing so shockingly well last year "tempered" that, but now wish had stuck with it..lolol.. and jared allen sure has also been a no show- guess that trip down to favre's ranch took too much out of him..lol

The packers being voted over the bears is so damn irrational. The Bears have a better record then the Packers AND beat them. It's illogical
And the Top 5 seems simple. Ravens, Jets, Steelers, Falcons, Pats
Ravens beat Jets & Steelers, Jets beat Pats & Steelers beats Falcons. The only thing that could arguably be changed about it is Jets & Steelers, but IMO the Jets have been more impressive so far. Going on a head to head basis though, Ranking Ravens #1, Falcons #4 & Pats #5 seems clear, with in my rankings Bears #6

I was thinking last night during the game that Jared Allen's power must have been usurped when he cut the mullett.

I am having trouble seeing the last game with GB for anything other than the last game before the playoffs. I would love for it to mean something, but if the Packers cannot "overcome" as they are "built" to do (LOL) then we could be seeing Hanie and Wolfe/Bell a lot in that game.

he actually wasn't very good at the end of last year either- which was when he did that "jorts' takeoff on favre's wrangler Commercials for ESPN... maybe its the curse of the "jorts"..: )

I don't get why some people get their panties in a bind if the bears are not ranked higher than other teams. It is someone elses opinion on the teams play. Hell the Shower Rankings are better than most so called experts predictions and rankings.
