Week 5 Power Rankings bears #11,,,

Don't get how the bears win , packers lose but still people hype the packers..Cutler will be back

    6. Green Bay (3-2). The Packers lost a crushing one in Washington, and though it wasn't because of their running game, you got the feeling during the week that the players were turning a questioning eye toward GM Ted Thompson for not making a deal to augment the backfield when Marshawn Lynch was shipped to Seattle for a fourth-round pick.

    11. Chicago (4-1). The Bears won with a quarterback, Todd Collins, completing six passes and throwing four interceptions Sunday ... and they won by 17! Such is life when you play the Carolina Panthers and have a runner like Matt Forte (22 carries, 166 yards) pushing the defense around.

walter football:( jeff he must also be concussed to ahve the 1-4 vikes above us..lol)

4.Green Bay Packers (3-2) - Previously: #1 </B>- I picked the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl. I stand by my belief that they were the best team in the NFL coming into the year, but the wheels are starting to come off. Nick Barnett's out for the year. Starting safety Morgan Burnett is done as well. Ryan Grant is gone too. Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion. Jermichael Finley had some sort of dislocated hamstring (ouch). Chad Clifton and Mark Tauscher can't stay in the lineup. And so on.

Like I said, I like making up excuses and considering myself awesome.

Before I move on, let me just say how frustrating it is to hear members of the media blatantly screw up stats and confuse fantasy owners. Cris Carter and a fat guy working for a popular fantasy football Web site both stated that the Packers can't stop the run because they give up five yards per carry. But if you eliminate quarterback scrambles, it was only 3.8 yards per rush going into the Washington game.

If you want accurate defensive rankings, and not something Steve Urkel and a doughnut-eater scraped off of NFL.com, you can download a helpful Excel file below these power rankings.

    14. Minnesota Vikings (1-3). Previously: #15

    16. Chicago Bears (4-1). Previously: #18

Yep don't think we need to be a top 3 ranked team( despite having the best record).. but not even top 10 or 15?? that's just idiotic.

    5 Bears 4-1-0

I'm still stunned that the Bears could overcome a four interception performance from QB Todd Collins to win easily against the Panthers last week. Obviously, it didn't hurt that RB Matt Forte put up 166 yards and two scores on the ground. Expand Description

    8 Packers 3-2-0

The reality for Green Bay is it's very hard to overcome numerous injuries on both sides of the ball. It will be a tremendous challenge for the coaching staff to find a way to get the backups that will be filling in to play at a high level. Expand Description

    21 Vikings 1-3-0 -

You can clearly see against the Jets how the addition of WR Randy Moss could help their passing game. He's the badly needed downfield passing threat that they have been missing with Sidney Rice out of the lineup. Expand Description

    Bears 7
Jay Cutler, get well soon. They can't afford another game with Todd Collins starting at quarterback. The Bears defense has played well all season.

    12 Packers ·
The supposedly explosive offense hasn't been clicking. What has gone wrong? They don't look anything like the first-team offense did in the preseason.

    23 Vikings ·
At 1-3, they're in the same hole with Dallas. If they lose at home this week, they might be saying goodbye to the postseason. Hear that, Brett and Randy?

    8. Chicago Bears (No. 12; 4-1): Reality eventually will catch up with this team. But there's a good chance it won't happen until the middle of January.

    10. Green Bay Packers (No. 6; 3-2): If the Packers had traded for Marshawn Lynch, he'd probably be injured, too.

    19. Minnesota Vikings (No. 13; 1-3): Would this team be 1-3 if Tarvaris Jackson had been the starter since Week One?

I love how last year it was that our Defense sucked, and this year it is WOW, look at all the injuries taking the Packers out. Injuries to overcome for the Packers, and Long in the tooth and general suckage for the Bears. LOL

THe Queens did not look good last night, the Packers will not be able to continue to overcome the significant injuries that are racking up. Bears may not be elite yet, but they are playing at a high level, they are playing with a lot of heart, and they are winning games in different ways, building confdence along the way.

I look to the Bears to keep it up and the Queens to start putting things together, but still losing some tough games, and the Puke to fall off the radar.
