He did not look that bad at LT.
The question is that you have Omiyale and Williams to play the left side and Frank has already sucked at LG.

This must be JA's way of saying we are not getting Mankins.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

This is a sure sign that we are only a week away from seeing Marinelli at right guard. ROOOOAR!

At first glance, this shocked me. After reading through the thread, I now think this is an attempt to keep what happened last week with Carolina going and give CW a place on the line. It is less about OMG > C.W., than it is C.W. needs to be on the line and keep ther rest the way it is.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears offensive lineman Chris Williams returned to practice after injuring his hamstring three weeks ago in Dallas.
Williams was dressed in full pads and participated in individual drills.
Linebacker Lance Briggs and left guard Roberto Garza sat out practice. Briggs hurt his left ankle during the Bears' 23-6 victory over Carolina and was unable to finish the game.
Safety Major Wright appears to be making progress in his return from a hamstring injury. The rookie was observed running on the side with a member of the teams' training staff.

It could also be that Williams hamstring is not 100% so they are putting him in a position that limits his mobility.

I can almost hear the odds of drafting a oline shrink to zero if our line improves to average.

If Garza is hurting this might be the best move, although I find it odd that Williams isn't back at LT. I know he wasn't playing well before he was hurt but OMG has been as bad or worse.
