Clark is the Alex Brown of the offense. Always trying to replace him with someone but cant find anyone good enough. Oh well no big deal just wonder how do we keep him on the team when he is making big money and just sitting him. You see what I said last week you sign too many of the guys we dont use to these average contracts and you are forced to lose guys like Brown. Brown 6 mil - clark 2 mil - Bullocks 1.7 mil- Anderson 1.3 mil - Hilly 2 mil etc.......you see back up quality players make that kind of money = losing Brown. Dumb. If they want to replace Clark so damn bad why even keep him on the roster

While agree would like to see him Active, the point about ST's is valid, as clark doesn't play ST.. And While don't have the Coach's tape of ST play- which was awful in preseaspn, but top's in the NFL again in season- "if" K. Davis who plays on all ST units, IS a difference maker on the wedge( or whatever calling it now) and coverage- can see that "swaying" the 46 roster to him- but if he's not making a difference and just a body- then rather see clark out there and give the ST to Wootton/melton or another depth player with size and speed

Izzy done a good job of replacing alex's play and numbers( for $4.4 million less)

as a comparsion through 5 games:

    2010 alex brown- 11 tackles, 1 sack, 0 FF, 0 FR, 2 PD

    2010 izzy- 15 tackles, 3.5 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 0 PD
