Commitment to the run is not Mike Martz and most of us knew that 6 months ago.
I'd add one thing: M. Faulk had 2 1300 yrd rushing seasons in the Martz offense. I think you hit the nail on the head GOF, Martz is more confident passing with this O line, than he is running.

If you think it's going to get sniffed out RUN in your passing sets. You don't need statistical analysis to know when we will run and always pass.
If you think about it, your O-Line will gain more confidence by run blocking and picking up yards which may help them in the passing game and keep the defense on it's heels. That's how football works. You have to be able to run the ball! Until Martz sees that, it's going to be a frustrating year, but then again maybe that's what is required is a regime change.

Ok say they start running and it's as putrid as the passing game is, I bet we convert at least 2 more third downs and the QB stays UPRIGHT. Less negative plays for the D to handle.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

We did NOT lose today because we didn't run the ball. We lost because we COULD NOT stop Mike Williams and Justin Forset.
Martz runs with a two score lead. He's been doing it that way for decades.

It may keep the D a little fresher if they attempt to run the ball. I guess if we can't do either, what more can you do, except attempt. Oh please let us be able to do something. I just hope we haven't won our last game. Once your deemed one dimensional, forget it, your done!

We haven't won our last game. We still have Buffalo on the schedule, and another shot with Detroit. Green Bay is banged up, and Minny still looks confused. However, the Patriots, Eagles, Jets should all be worrying you. The Dolphins and Redskins should also make you think a bit. Those could very well end in losses.

I believe martz is doing the best he can with what he has.

I can't say I agree, cause he abandones the run as soon as one or two run plays don't work. You have to try to balance this offense. You can't be one dimensional or your too predictable.

The Bears can't run, but they are going to have to just run and punt it. Play conservative because they can't risk passing the ball.
