I talk about this with my sister all the time after the games:
Our lousy 3rd down conversion rate
Our defense giving up 3rd down conversions
Drives us nuts.

Was Thrax right? Sure looks like it.
Was Nagurski right? Sure looks like it
Were all us who picked them to finish 7-9 or worse right? Sure looks like it.

I don't want to give up on it yet, but it's frustrating losing to a team you should have beaten. I know that "any given sunday", but today, Seattle made plays when they had to on both sides of the ball and we didn't!

The Bears played like absolute crap, no one really looked good, outside of Hester returning a punt and Manning returning one that was called back on a holding call.

Oh, I agree Benj. My rants in other threads confirms that. Today was absolutely disgusting. Didn't mean to imply any different.

I know you didn't. My outlook seems to be changing on a weekly basis with the Bears record. Right now, I would be surprised if the won three more games.

This OL is going to make or break this team all year. The best way to avoid that is to have a coaching staff smart enough to limit that issue. That means not having a pass to run ratio of 3 to 1, hard for the run to ever get going on 12 total attempts by the running backs.

Yep, just like passing you have to get into a rhythm in rushing. Yes many plays are for naught but eventually you can break a few and wear down the D instead of-what was our 3rd down % ? Terrible.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
Restore the roar!

None of us wants to give up but I think we got a taste of reality seeing out line get dominated again and our qb get sacked 6 times.
