I think many had them pegged but you can't be too negative (or positive imo) that you see many false positive. This stubbornness with the pass will get Jay put out for the year. But if I'm positive Lovie and co. won't be around either.

oh, Anthrax has only been saying what we all knew/know.
It's just that some of us would rather try to remain positive or we wouldn't really have much reason to keep watching this poor excuse for a team.
Nobody's really being fooled. We all know they absolutely STINK.
But hell, it's all we got. :-)

Well, on a positive note, if your a fan of an opposing team, at least you know that your team still has at least one more crappy team to play...and an easy win coming.

I would've been concerned about this for weeks were I a Bear fan. Winning is a great deodorant but facts make for a sobering reality.

The Bears rank dead last in the NFL in 3rd down conversions at 13 of 62 which is 21%. More surprising are the teams directly above them in those statistics...

The Chiefs have converted 14 of 50 third downs for 28%.

The Steelers have converted 14 of 49 third downs for 28.6%.

Converting 3rd down is a big, big deal. Those teams would be better served if they converted at a more successful rate.
