Chicago Bears When will all Phases actually play well in one Game?

I was not able to watch the game, but was checking my phone for updates and from what I saw this team cannot get all of the phases on the same page in one game. The Defense has been stout up until today(minus the Giants game). The offense has been questionable all year long though on certain plays they look good. Special Teams seems to be the one phase that has the best success on the season so far and that has to be a problem.

Each week we move on, I start to believe that those first 3 wins were as much luck as they were the other teams shooting themselves in the foot. In 2006 Super Bowl season, all 3 phases seemed to gel more than once. Obviously the D won us many more of those games. Part of me feels that this should be blamed on the coaching as well.

Martz once again totally went away from the run and was pass happy as hell. What happened to last week. I still feel we need to be able to establish the run and work off it in the passing game. Someone tell me if I'm wrong, but I seem to get more and more frustrated with Martz each and every week. I hope we figure this out and get the W over the Skins next Sunday going into the Bye. Thoughts Please?

You should be thankful you didn't "get" to watch this game! One of my sisters, big bear fan, multiple TV's on Sunday with NFL Sunday ticket, was out of town and recorded the game. I talked to her from the airport and told her to just erase it. Don't watch. It will only serve to piss you off completely.

It is frustrating! I get excited by things were able to do all around, then we come out against a team we should destroy and play like Sh*t. I hope we figure this out and quick.

They haven't figured out the OL in six weeks, what makes you think they will be able to do so in the next 11?

I'm surprised if Martz and Tice aren't at each others throats.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I don't care whether we run the ball to set up the pass or pass the ball to set up the run. I'd just like to see a little more balance on offense. Watching pre-game today and they mentioned how the Saints were 55/45 last year pass/run. Never would have thunk it had I not seen the statistic.

I know this is a passing league now, more than a running league and that's okay with me. The thing that frustrates me the most is watching an o line that's not capable of blocking very well for either the pass or the run. I understand this o line has no continuity (time played together) and are mostly young, but I'm really wondering if they have any potential at all? Is there any talent there? If they play their best, will they only be an average o line? I don't know the answers to those questions, but I am beginning to wonder.

I'm a person who believes you win football games in the trenches. You control the line of scrimmage and you'll win a high percentage of football games. That's just my opinion. So to see us not invest much in the o line and seeing the consequence of that is irritating.

No, there is no talent there. The best player on the Offensive line is Kruetz, and he looks like he is running on fumes.
I am afraid that they are playing their best, and they are far below average.

The statistic for the Saints doesn't surprise me as much as I thought it would. It's as simple as this, we need to be able to run the ball or it's going to be a long year. I guess I would expect a long year! WTF!
