FWIW, I thought Omiyale did a worse job than Webb did. At least Webb can write it off as a rookie mistakes. I'd rather see CWilliams back at LT also. He's not as bad at LT as many are making him out to be.
I never once understood why if Williams was able to play, he wasn't starting at LT. If he needed more time to be able to move (hamstring still "recovering") then keep him on the bench. So to me, he could have played LT.

because garza got injured- and Since the oline had a good game against carolina, wanted to ONLY change one position( LG , garza to williams), then change potentially 3-4 positions if move williams to LT and someone else to LG and maybe Omiyale to RT... For sake of 'continuity" williams to LG made the most sense, unfort the Tackles didn't play well

Dear god, don't swap people around more. IMO that is one of the biggest problems since Lovie has been here. People are constantly being moved around/retrained to play another position. 3 positions in the last 12 months for Williams is too many. Don't move E. Williams around unless you have to do so. Danieal Manning is the perfect example of a player ruined for long spans of time by constant position swapping. Let's not keep making the same mistakes.

But Williams isn't a Guard! Hasn't been in 6 years. At least OMFG has played LG in the last 12 games.....

Well the other Choice would be omiyale at LG,,, I think Williams needs to go back to LT..

For one game, you see tackles go to guard.. packers doing with beluga for instance, and willams did play guard in college so not as a permanent moe, but jsut saying understand WHY did it for one game to see if continuity of the panthers game would translate the following week( it didn't)

OMFG to LG (he is ruined anyway.....time to ramp up Asiata in practice for after bye), Williams at LT, Kreutz, Louis or E. Williams, Shaffer (not totally down on Webb, but for Redskins think Shaffer better, bring Webb back after bye).

I don't understand why it was done for one game. That's my statement. And I'd bet that anyone on the team would say it didn't work out well. At least at LG, players have to run over OMFG, that might delay them a bit. He is a useless T.
