    WEEK 6 Power rankings.. Bears #5- #14

    Sporting news:

    11. Green Bay Packers (7). Unfortunately, this once-promising season is now being known more for a rash of injuries and stunning overtime losses.

    14. Chicago Bears (10). They're again the most difficult team to figure out. Or maybe it's just this simple: Their inconsistency has them headed for .500.

    16. Minnesota Vikings (19). Here they come. If Brett Favre's elbow holds together, they'll be a strong playoff position in six weeks.

    Fox sports:

    5Bears

4-2-075/20I'm still stunned that the Bears could overcome a four interception performance from QB Todd Collins to win easily against the Panthers last week. Obviously, it didn't hurt that RB Matt Forte put up 166 yards and two scores on the ground.

    8Packers

3-3-042/8The reality for Green Bay is it's very hard to overcome numerous injuries on both sides of the ball. It will be a tremendous challenge for the coaching staff to find a way to get the backups that will be filling in to play at a high level.

    21Vikings

2-3-0-8/23You can clearly see against the Jets how the addition of WR Randy Moss could help their passing game. He's the badly needed downfield passing threat that they have been missing with Sidney Rice out of the lineup

    NBC:

    12. Chicago Bears (No. 8; 4-2): And here are the Bears we expected to see this year.

    14. Green Bay Packers (No. 10; 3-3): It's fitting, we suppose, that on the same weekend the Packers welcome back to Lambeau Field a receiver who pretended to show them his ass, they'll also be seeing a quarterback who allegedly showed someone something else.

    15. Minnesota Vikings (No. 19; 2-3): The Vikings will need much more than 188 yards of offense if they hope to keep winning.

And this is the part I don't get by some.. Despite the "sky is falling" mentality, we are STILL the favorites and most national media see us as the top team in the NFCN, despite the problems, we just have less than the other 3..

    CBS:

10Bears · Trends7They can't protect the quarterback. It's killing them. If they don't fix that line, their lead in the division won't last long.

14Packers · Trends12They are one of the biggest disappointments so far. The injuries are really taking a toll on this team. What has happened to that offense?

16Vikings · Trends23At 2-3, they have life. Now comes a key divisional game at Green Bay against the Packers. They win that, and it could be time to get on a roll.

And yet when we have these same rash of injuries we just suck; but truth be told that team would be much better if they had the majority of their stars healthy; just like we would have been when we had this same issue.
