you are welcome gamma and when you said "Stats mean nothing if you can't win a game.
And the ONLY 2 teams that have not won a game in 2010 are the panthers and bills- so that is why said them
just pointing only ONE TEAM IN THE ENTIRE NFL HAS WON MORE GAMES THAN THE BEARS SO FAR- So did not understand the "Stats means nothing if you can't win", when well ,,we have won...please explain

Yes, the Bears have won a game, but they can't win games they should win. Shooting themselves in the foot before they get out of the damned locker room. Bah, why am I even arguing with you. It's like talking with a child.

Actually the bears have won 4..BAH! why bothering arguing with someone that can't even get the wins right, even a child could do that : )
and not that matters but we beat the lions when "should have'.. we beat the cowboys and packers when you didn't think we would and beat the panthers when you said we should.. so there goes your 'theory"..and have ALREADY WON GAMES THEY SHOULD FOR YOUR "can't" being wrong
And yes like all 32 teams they will have "blips" and not win when you expect.. not really a shock to anyone that isn't a child that teams do lose when expected and sometimes even win when not expected.

there is no need for the name calling.

The Bears should of won that game, that's what I'm saying. They keep shooting themselves in the foot, every damn year since 2006. Ample opportunities to win and they blow it.

Agree they "should" have, and w/o rod wilson's penatly would have.. but that is World's different than CAN"T WIN( esp when 4 games already).. and vastly different than stats meaning nothing if can't win,, when in first and winning
And that is the nature of football, about 80% of games each week decided by a TD or less, so of course all 32 teams have loses where can claim "shot themselves in foot" and can pointot their ample opportunties for wins, and why lost..FWIW

More ST stats, pretty impressive:
Chicago bears lead NFL in punt return average and are 2nd in punts inside the 20, special teams points scored and opp. FG %

Gamma's point is that why should we talk about "bright spots" in the stats column after a loss? You could say the Bears were #1 in every stat column, but it still doesnt take away from the fact that we lost to Seattle.
I can care less what the D is doing because the OL is holding the entire team back, and costing us wins.
As far as your "yeah but we won 4 games" mantra, that little tidbit will turn from "good point" to "is that all" to "really, we only won 4 games" by the end of the season. Thats why wins > stats, and if they are struggling against bad to medicore teams, then wait til after the Bills game when th schedule gets much harder.
