For Tommie and a 4th?? who wouldn't jump on that.
That was a rumor started by Schefter I do believe.
Problem is locking him up long term and he wants LT money.
I know someone here has links to what Tommie's eating up in Cap space/contract worth vs Mankins....
if we unload Tommie and free up that money, how much MORE would mankins need?
Tommie is his 3rd (I think) of a 40mil contract.
Mankins want's a deal close to 57 mil or something like that.... I'm not as fast as finding this sort of crap...
but looks to me like Tommie and the 4th is not the deal... it's the money mankins wants...
 I would love to have LM on our line.....
I don't care what it costs, they need to improve the offensive line. The same line that allows multiple sacks per game.
So what do we give up for Mankins? we would have to free up MORE big money...
I say cut Manu or add him to the trade. Make it
T. Harris and Brandon Manu
For Mankins and a 5th
Or cut Manu and give the pats what they want.
T.Harris and a 4th.
then we just flat out Cut Manu's POS Arse, and call it a day.
I just think they don't want to sign him to a deal that will get him to play. Has nothing to do with what they would have to give up, but the money he is demanding.
We've cut Anderson and I agree w/Grizz cut Tommie and Manu and get him if at all possible.
