    Rex Grossman returns to Chicago

    http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nf...ory?id=5703087

    Grossman expects to be booed

Considering how often he was booed in Soldier Field while he played for the Chicago Bears, Rex Grossman probably was safe to assume he'll be booed Sunday when he visits as the Washington Redskins' back-up quarterback.
The Bears drafted Grossman with the 22nd pick of the first round in 2003. After battling injuries his first couple of seasons, Grossman played in all 16 games in 2006 as the Bears advanced to Super Bowl XLI, where they lost to the Indianapolis Colts.
"That was my only full season there," Grossman told The Washington Post. "I had a couple of injuries before that season, and then didn't play much after that season.
"That was an unbelievable year. We had a lot of good things happen. And to be able to experience that with a bunch of teammates, the coaching staff, and even the city, really, it was a special thing. ... It was probably the best year of my life."
Grossman may consider '06 to be the best year of his life, but his other seasons in Chicago were not as pleasant. He played in 12 games for the Bears in 2007 and '08, and his passer rating was 66.4 and 59.7, respectively. Bears fans often viewed Grossman as the obstacle to a team with a solid defense and showered the quarterback with jeers.
He said he still talks to a couple members of the Bears' coaching staff.
"I spent six years there and felt like that was home for a long time," Grossman told The Post. "It's gonna be good to see everybody."
Grossman was on the Houston Texans' roster last year, but this will be the first time he faces the Bears in an opposing uniform.
"I would expect them to probably boo," he told the paper. "If I don't play, I'm sure I'll hear a little heckling on the sidelines.
"I loved it there. I had a good time. I had a lot of great memories. It'll be interesting to go back to play there."

Wait, after the showing this team gave last week, HE expects to be booed? He's either arrogant or out of his ****** mind.

That would never happen. Our D would kill Wrex for making them work OT to cover for his incompetence when he was our QB.

Oh man that reminds me of the jock sniffers that actually bought that Kruetz was the reason for all the fumbled snaps! And the poor guy, after having to pull that shit is now having to cover for the rest of the OL's in ability to pick up corner and saftey blitzes he shouldn't even be able to see.
